Rosins & Derivatives
Disproportionated Gum Rosin (DGR)
Oxidation-stable rosin for emulsion polymerisation.
Catalytically disproportionated rosin used as the standard emulsifier system for SBR and other synthetic rubber latices. Disproportionation converts the unstable abietic-type acids into more stable dehydrogenated forms, dramatically improving oxidation resistance.
